The Inca Bridge or Inka Bridge seems to be the name or nickname of two places related to accesses of Machu Picchu, in Peru.One of the two was built by the Incas as a secret entrance to Machu Picchu for the Inca army.
The Inca Bridge is a part of a mountain trail in part cut into the cliff, a stone path that heads west from Machu Picchu in Peru. A twenty-foot gap was left in this section of the carved cliff edge, over a 1,900 feet drop, that could be bridged with two tree trunks, else leaving the trail impassable
to outsiders.
