Gardens of the Italian Lake District (7/6-14/2009) - You will enjoy looking all all these photos - absolute eye candy! Experiencing the Italian Lake District is even better.

The villages and villas surrounding Lake Como and Lake Maggiore have beautiful flowers and planted areas just about everywhere you go. The villa gardens that stood out to us were Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio, Villa Carlotta near Tremezo, and Palazzo Barromeo on Isola Bella in Lake Maggiore (see photos).

Serbelloni above Bellagio is a complete hillside of trees from all over the world. It is an amazing walk. Villa Carlotta has the most fabulous set of landscapes we have seen - one after another. The spectacularly beautiful Palazzo Barromeo on Isola Bella in Lake Maggiore is incredible and is best described by the photos.
